Andern is a modern take on a classic smartwatch with a sleek design and a special twist. The customizability of this smartwatch is perfect for anyone for any ocassion.

SKETCHES
The ideation process for this project was a long one, but I knew from the start that I wanted to incorporate some sort of interactive quality for the watch that would make it stand out.
IDEATIONS
In an attempt to make this watch unique, I tried different forms and different clasp attachments to make it easier for the user to take the strap on and off.
STYLE & FUNCTION
The Andern watch offers a working interchangeable bezel that allows the user to customize the watch to each occasion. With customization being the key, the strap change knob allows users to quickly change their straps without a hassle. The slight divot on the side of the watch has a haptic touch that allows the user to customize the setting to their liking.

Each color option comes with its custom bezel and strap change knob, with each element being interchangeable.
DETAILS
The matte finish on the band and the brushed aluminum on the clasp shows the level of detail and finish on the product.
